1.1 Introduction
The ability to act effectively in an emergency is an essential skill for anyone who may encounter anaphylactic allergies. The "First aid – Anaphylactic allergies (1.5h)" training is a complete, targeted program designed to equip participants with advanced first aid skills specifically for severe allergic reactions.
Designed to meet the needs of a broad audience — and particularly suited to those who are often in contact with at-risk groups (children, seniors, people with severe allergies) — it covers in detail the specific techniques for managing anaphylactic emergencies, including the administration of epinephrine via auto-injector.
5Certification upon completion
61.2 Course objectives
Master specific interventions for anaphylactic reactions: identify and react effectively to severe allergic reactions, recognize early signs and implement appropriate emergency measures, including administering epinephrine via auto-injector.
Acquire specific emergency first aid skills for anaphylactic allergies: managing medical emergencies related to severe allergic reactions in accordance with the latest recommended standards and practices.
Prevent risks specific to severe allergic reactions: reducing the escalation of these emergencies and protecting both first aiders and victims.
71.3 Teaching approach & 1.4 Learning activities & 1.5 Supervision
The training is based on active, inductive learning, the integration of theory and practice (anaphylactic emergency simulations), interactive modules with demonstration videos, and continuous assessment. For any question, our team answers by email at [email protected] and via the built-in chat (24/7), within 48 business hours.

- Learn proper response techniques for a victim suffering an anaphylactic allergic reaction
- Master a complete response to a victim suffering an anaphylactic allergic reaction
10Conclusion
Awareness of continuous training and the importance of keeping anaphylaxis management skills up to date
112.3 Detailed explanations of objectives
The section dedicated to anaphylactic allergic reactions is specifically designed to prepare participants to recognize and effectively manage medical emergencies related to severe allergic reactions. Key points:
Recognition of allergens and symptoms: identify common allergens and recognize signs and symptoms (cutaneous, respiratory, cardiovascular) for a rapid response.
Physiological reactions: understand the mechanisms by which anaphylaxis affects the respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
Pharmacological effects of epinephrine: understand why it is the first-line treatment for anaphylactic reactions.
Injection techniques: learn the correct techniques to administer an epinephrine injection safely with auto-injectors.
Clinical response protocol: act effectively and safely according to the established protocol.
Auto-injector risks: know the precautions and risks associated with auto-injectors (EpiPen, Allerject, etc.).
Clinical interpretation: correctly assess visual, respiratory, cutaneous and circulatory signs indicating a severe allergic reaction.
Complete response: from initial assessment to epinephrine administration, calling emergency services and life-support measures.
124 — Theoretical instruction, assessments and practice
4.1 Theoretical instruction
It is crucial to complete the assigned reading before progressing through the program. After the reading section, you must click the "COMPLETED" button. An interactive medical glossary is available — highlighted terms offer an information bubble and a link to a full definition.
13"Explanations" section — Optional but recommended
144.2 Theoretical assessments
At the end of the reading module, a multiple-choice quiz must be completed within 60 minutes. Minimum required score: 80%. Up to 10 retakes permitted. A "Need a hint?" button is available during the assessment.
15Intervention after repeated failures
164.3 Practical sessions
Before the practical session, you will be guided in building a manikin using everyday objects to practice medication administration maneuvers. An animated video guides participants through the steps of the maneuvers, including hand position. Our automated system monitors the time spent — progress is blocked until the session is fully completed. The FRSQC mobile app is available as a complementary support.
175 — Deadline management
From the date of purchase, you have 10 weeks to complete the program. Inactivity of more than 10 weeks results in a temporary suspension of the account. To reactivate your access, contact FRSQC at [email protected].
18Tip
196 — Students with a disability, learning disorder or mental health condition
FRSQC is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment. We encourage students with disabilities to inform us at the start of the training. Personalized accommodations can be arranged: extended deadlines, adapted materials, and assistance during the practical session.
207 — FRSQC evaluation
Confidential evaluations are conducted during and at the conclusion of the training to measure teaching effectiveness. Your feedback can be sent to: [email protected]
218 — Certification
Upon completion of the training, once all assessments have been passed, an official "Advanced First Aider in Anaphylactic Allergies" certificate will be issued to you in electronic format, immediately available for download, email or printing.
Available formats:
Standard format: 8.5 × 11 inches (letter size)
Pocket card format: double-sided folded, practical for daily use — especially useful to keep the response protocol at hand
22Security and recognition
239 — Educational support
Direct support: email at [email protected] and interactive chat on our website. Service hours: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
